Carpe Vita has 10 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks. The different cabin types are suite (2), superior (2) and standard (6). All cabins have individually controlled AC, safety deposit boxes and TV screens with HD media players and their own private bathrooms.

Suite

The very spacious suite cabins are located at the upper deck. The cabins have king size (California) beds which can be separated in two super single beds (39 inches), a wide flat screen TV plus HD media player, desk/chair/dresser, two hanging closets, windows throughout the side of the cabin, bathroom with dual sink, bath tub and separate shower cubicle.

Superior

The Carpe Vita has two superior cabins located on the main deck with king size beds which can be separated in two super single beds and desk/chair/dresser, hanging closet, large windows, private ensuite bathroom and shower cubicle.

Standard

A total of 6 standard cabins are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. All cabins have one queen size bed and and super single bed, desk/chair, dresser, private ensuite bathrooms with showers. All standard cabins have portholes.

On the main deck you will find

- AC acclimatised lounge area, with a coffee / tea table offering you coffee/tea throughout the day. It also has a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, in house sound system, library and comfortable sitting area.

- In house shop offering souvenirs, t-shirts, fish books, dive accessories, caps etc.

- Outside in front of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you could have your afternoon tea while cruising and taking in the beautiful colours of the Indian Ocean.

- Business centre with internet and all business centre facilities.

- A platform at the back of the main deck with two fresh water showers

From the outside as well as from the inside a staircase will lead you to the upper deck and bridge area with

- Bridge area with sofa seating area to accompany the captain while driving the boat
- Our beautiful and very spacious two Suite rooms.
- Main open air dining area and bar where you will be served semi buffet meals prepared by our fine dining chef while enjoying our fine selection of (non) alcoholic beverages.

From the dining area a staircase ultimately leads you to a spacious sun deck, which is partially shaded and has a Jacuzzi and a sitting area in the middle and some lounge chairs to catch that nice tan.
Tenders: All equipments (2x L&W HP 450 compressors with tailor made L&W Nitrox system are installed on our 61 feet brand new diving dhoni giving more space, minimal noise and enhanced safety to Carpe Vita itself. First aid box and oxygen onboard. The dhoni has a toilet and hot water shower, two fresh water showers at the back and fresh water camera and wetsuit rinse tank.
Meals & Drinks: Maldivian, Thai, Indian, European and International cuisines are served during the cruise by our fine dining chef assisted by our local chef. Fresh Snacks will be served in between dives, when a dive is not immediately followed by a meal. Dietary requirements and special occasion packages like birthdays, anniversaries can also be catered for upon request.

Our fine collection of wineries and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar for a reasonable cost.
Payment onboard: Payment can be done by credit card (VISA, Master or American Express) or cash (only USD and euro's are accepted)
Electricity onboard: The electricity voltage on board is of 220V and the plugs are of 3 pins UK type.
Security: First Aid Equipment, Medical Oxygen, Fire extinguishesr, Life vests and Dive insurance also available.
Rates & Booking Conditions
Rates Remarks: Days aboard Carpe Vita Explorer generally involve a cold pre breakfast from 6:00 am followed by a first morning dive, Full breakfast, second morning dive, lunch around 12:00 pm, two afternoon dives and dinner at 6:30 or 7:00 pm. On the day or days when night dives are offered, dinner is typically around 8:00 pm.

The Carpe Vita Explorer offers 10 night and 7 night itineraries which change depending on the season. Each offering a unique dive itinerary based on the seasons, current and pelagic migration patterns.
Rates: Upper deck VIP rooms feature individually-controlled air conditioning systems, as well as a king size (California) or super single beds, chair/desk/dresser, hanging closets, large windows, flat panel TV/HD player, private ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, separate shower and bath. 4 guided dives per day including one or two night dives per week. Tanks: 12 lt Aluminum DIN/INT, weights and weight belts. English speaking PADI Instructor and Dive Master Guide services - Guides to Divers max Ratio 1:8.
Rates not included: Maldivian bed tax of 8 USD p/p per night. Scuba Equipment rental (with the exception of Discover Scuba Diving Experience and Open Water Course, in which equipment rental is included in the fee, but limited to its duration). 12 liters Nitrox tanks.
