Captain, asst. captain and main fisherman, chef cook (India), asst. chef cook (Bangladesh), bartender, room boy, deck boy, dive instructor and 2 dive masters (all locals) in charge of diving and guiding.

Cabin Facilities: There are 4 types of cabins divided over 3 decks

Upper deck: Suite and Deluxe cabin with double beds
Main deck : High standard (2) cabins with double beds
Lower deck : Standard cabins (6) with double beds and a bunk bed

All cabins have individual bathrooms with hot water. All cabins have safety deposit boxes. Only the Suite, deluxe and high standard cabins have a flat screen TV with DVD player.

All cabins also have individually controlled AC. Bedsheets are changed regularly and towels and bath towels are provided.
Amenities: Sun deck:

115sqm partially shaded sundeck with sitting area and lounge chairs.

Upper deck:

Bridge area, sitting/reading area with our in house library, studio with Internet access, Phone/Email. Fully equipped bar and open air restaurant.

Main deck:

Lounge, bar, wide flat screen TV, DVD player and in house music system. Tailor made camera table, ice cream fridge. Open sitting area. Platform with two showers.

Island hopping along with BBQ meals on deserted islands. Fishing gears, Dive Equipment rentals and PADI Courses.

On the last day of the trip - visit to the capital Island MALE'.
Tenders: All equipments (2x MCH 16 Coltri Sub (530 L/min, 18 CFM plus a Bauer M320E, Coltri Sub LP280 Rotary Silent, Nuvair ® Membrane) compressors are installed on our 55 feet brand new diving dhoni giving more space, minimal noise and enhanced safety to Carpe Diem itself. First aid box and oxygen onboard. The dhoni has a toilet and hot water shower, two fresh water showers at the back and fresh water camera tank.
Meals & Drinks: Maldivian, Thai, Indian, European and International cuisines are served during the cruise by our fine dining chef assisted by our local chef. Snacks, Dietary requirements and special occasion packages like birthdays, anniversaries can also be catered for upon request.

Our fine collection of wineries and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar for a reasonable cost.
Payment onboard: Payment can be done by credit card or cash (only USD and euro's are accepted)
Electricity onboard: Electricity is of 220 V and adapters are available for every cabin.
Security: First Aid Equipment, Medical Oxygen, Fire extinguishesr, Life vests and Dive insurance also available.

Rates & Booking Conditions
Rates Remarks: The Carpe Diem takes full charter, half charter as well as individual booking requests.

The Carpe Diem will have 7 and 10 night cruises. The cruises normally leave every Sunday unless in the event of 10 day cruises departure days might change.

Check in time will be at noon. In case of early arrival guests will be met by our representatives and will have the option to wait at the airport or arrangements could be made to use the facilities of the nearby airport hotel for a small extra charge until check-in time for the boat. Check out time will be latest by 8 am on the day of departure.

Winter will run from November 1, 2010 till April 30, 2011. Summer lasts from May 1 till October 31, 2010.

Rates for surf of fishing charters are available upon request.

Diving:
3 guided dives per day except for on day of arrival (1 check dive) and day before disembarkation (max. 2 offered) plus one night dive per week. Max. number of dives in a trip 18-19. Tanks: 13.5 lt Aluminum DIN/INT, weights and weight belts. English speaking PADI Instructor and Dive Master Guide services - Guides to Divers max Ratio 1:8.
Rates not included: Scuba Equipment rental (with the exception of Discover Scuba Diving Experience and Open Water Course, in which equipment rental is included in the fee, but limited to its duration). Dive Insurance coverage. Alcoholic and soft drinks. Crew gratuities
